In today's Fantasy Life Newsletter, presented by Pristine Auction:
As usual, we have lots of moving parts to work through before kickoff. Hereās everything you need to know before setting your Week 11 lineupā¦
šļø 2 big IR updates. Yesterday we learned that Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins (lisfranc injury) is out for the season and that the Lions are placing Sam LaPorta on IR due to a back injury.
The big question today is how much you can trust RJ Harvey. Or put a better way ⦠how much can you trust Sean Payton? We know the answer to the latter is āvery little.ā Still, itās hard not to be excited about the rookie getting more opportunities today. Dwain included him in his rankings risers piece and aggressively ranked him at RB15.
š„ A shake-up in Buffalo? We already knew the Bills were going to be without Dalton Kincaid today, but it also sounds like we might be getting a surprise Keon Coleman scratch with rumors flowing from multiple Buffalo accounts. If this does happen, Khalil Shakir becomes a rock-solid WR2 and Joshua Palmer enters the FLEX conversation. Be sure to consult our final ranks after inactives are announced.
š A surprise WR1 in Jax. It looks like we wonāt be getting Brian Thomas Jr. this week, which means Parker Washington (WR34) and Jakobi Meyers (WR43) will lead the Jags today. It seems wild to say, but I canāt imagine sitting Washington.
𤮠The Cardinals backfield is a mess. Bam Knight (ankle) is going to play, which means we are looking at a gross split with him and Emari Demercado. Despite a solid matchup, Iād steer away. For ideas on which Cardinals WRs you can start with no Marvin Harrison Jr. (as well as some weather notes), check out Chris Allenās Week 11 cheat sheet.
šļø Misc news. Donāt worry about Drake London, heās fine after getting sick from the Berlin travel ⦠Despite the oblique injury, Davante Adams is good to go today vs. the Seahawks ⦠Quentin Johnston (shin) is also expected to play after getting in a full practice Friday ⦠C.J. Stroud is out today ⦠and possibly Thursday, as well. For a full rundown, check out the Injury Report from Adam Ronis and Jorge Martin.

Whatās the status of Davante Adams, Rome Odunze and others? Adam Ronis and Jorge Martin provide an overview on the player injuries weāre facing this week.

Itās Week 11, weird stuff is happening. Like Joe Flacco as a QB1. Dwain McFarland examines the rankings and highlights whoās moving up and sliding down.

Rome Odunze should keep the good times rolling against the Vikings today. Ian Hartitz also drops the best RB handcuffs and more in this weekly deep dive.

When the news came that Marvin Harrison Jr. was going to miss Week 11āand maybe moreāwith an appendicitis, people scurried to the waiver wire to pick up Michael Wilson and even Greg Dortch. Yet weāve learned that when a top WR is out, not all the targets funnel to him like touches for a backup RB taking on the lead role:
āGiven their previous usage rates, Trey McBride scoring multiple TDs along with either of Zonovan Knight or Emari Demercado getting in the end zone makes sense. Or, in other words, boosting Michael Wilson or Greg Dortch because of the situation only considers the ceiling without the possibility of no floor.ā
Chris Allen took a last look at the latest news and rankings to find players to target in Week 11. And now that weāre into mid-November, weather is certainly becoming a larger issue, and there are games worth monitoring. Check out the Week 11 Cheat Sheet. ā¬ļø

Yes, it has been a bumpy ride for Woody Marks after what appeared to be a Week 4 breakout. But things looked eerily familiar last week compared to the previous time the Texans faced the Titans. Hereās my breakdown:
āMarks dominated touches for the Texans in Week 10 (78% snap share), similar to what he did in Week 4. But things feel different this time. Yes, the Texans were playing in a trailing script, but he also handled all of the goalline carries vs. the Jags. I'll repeat that a different wayāthey didn't give Nick Chubb a single carry inside the 10-yard line. The Titans give up the second-most points to opposing RBs in half-PPR (25.2).ā
Iāve got strategy on how to attack the Rams-Seahawks game of the week in the Underdog Battle Royale below. BTW, if you want to check out my weekly DFS stream, here you go.

With all the talk about A.J. Brown and his usage with the Eagles, itās flown under the radar that DeVonta Smith has taken over as the WR1 in Philly. And Mark Drumheller really likes the Slim Reaperās matchup against the Lions this week:
āHereās what elevates Smith to smash-start territory. The Lions allow the eighth-most fantasy points to WRs this season (29.3), while consistently showing up against the run (ninth EPA per rush). Phillyās mediocre success running the rock on early downs (16th) should have Hurts looking for Smithās dynamic playmaking to produce explosives against the Lions defense.ā
Drumheller showcases some of the biggest smash plays in Week 11. If you have these players, make sure theyāre in your lineup.
BTW, you might want to do more than keep an eye on Isaiah Likely in this weekās stashes. Meanwhile, letās get into the smash starts. ā¬ļø
